SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 10, 2001--Get2Chip, Inc., the electronic design automation (EDA) supplier of system-on-chip (SOC) synthesis, announced today the appointment of SC Hightech Corporation as its exclusive distributor to electronics companies in Japan.

The appointment of SC Hightech is part of Get2Chip's strategy to help enable the EDA retooling process under way in the SOC synthesis sector in the Japanese market. SC Hightech will sell and support VOLARE(TM), Get2Chip's breakthrough SOC synthesis technology, and its newly introduced Physical System Compiler called TOPOMO(TM).
